Aspen Cottage Assisted Living Memory Care Addition – Ground Breaking Ceremony – Waverly, Iowa
Last week Peters Construction attended the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Aspen Cottage Assisted Living Memory Care Addition located in Waverly, Iowa.
There was a very nice crowd gathered for the event. Those in attendance included residents, community members, employees, members of the local Chamber of Commerce, Peters Construction employees, and the Mayor of Waverly, Iowa. There were several people who spoke and they closed with a prayer.
The Aspen Cottage Assisted Living Memory Care Addition has been enrolled in the MBI/IOSHA WORKSAFE Program! To read more about what that means, you can go to the MBI website.
This project is an approximately 16,000 SF addition with connecting link to the northwest section of the existing campus at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community. It will have 20 bedroom with bathroom units, and also include common living space, dining area and kitchen.

Even their beloved mascot got in on the action!
Phill Nieman, Project Manager, and Ben Christie, Superintendent, have teamed up on this project.
Completion date is scheduled for February 2018.
